Manchester Evening News Arena Project

Project Completed
Overview

Manchester Evening News Arena, officially the world leading live entertainment venue in 2007 with recorded ticket sales of 604,562 ticket sales for the year, recently employed the Aluline to refurbish the 3rd floor of the venue.

The contract involved the removal of existing offices, a complete interior design mock up, and the transformation of the floor into a new bar named “The View”.

The project also included the installation of a new commercial kitchen and bar, a new state of the art sound and lighting system, and a sophisticated suspended ceiling design to compliment the new glass balcony overlooking the arena concourse.

With a flexible configuration - from an intimately lit dining area for 80 to a standing bar layout for 200, the venue is to be operated as a pre-show food and drink destination, with each pre-show themed depending on the evenings entertainment.
